Our Process

Solstice Spices offers the freshest spices available. Unique among spice producers, we start with genuine farm produce such as garlic, onions, peppers, and fresh herbs. Many of these fresh ingredients are cultivated at our Urban Farm in Salt Lake City, UT.

We harvest these ingredients at their peak season and dry them using solar and electric dehydrators. Chef Tony then processes the dried ingredients, creating delightful flavor blends that enhance a variety of dishes.

This method allows us to maintain control over the contents of our spice jars. Unlike other spice companies, which purchase pre-dried ingredients from third parties without knowledge of their origins or methods of cultivation, we ensure complete transparency.

Our process also guarantees that no allergens, gluten, or fillers are present in any jar. Understanding the challenge of food allergies firsthand through our son’s experiences, we take this commitment seriously.
