Paired with fresh spices, heirloom tomatoes take on a whole new level of deliciousness that is sure to please even the most discerning palate.
Heirloom tomatoes are not your average supermarket tomato. These unique varieties come in a range of colors, shapes, and sizes, each with its own distinct flavor profile. From sweet and juicy to tangy and robust, heirloom tomatoes offer a taste experience that simply can't be replicated with conventional tomatoes.
Pairing heirloom tomatoes with fresh spices is a match made in culinary heaven. The aromatic blend of herbs and spices enhances the natural flavors of the tomatoes, creating a harmonious balance of taste and texture.
2-3 organic heirloom tomatoes
10 basil leaves
1/2 lb. fresh mozzarella
2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
Garlic Herb or Chile Garlic (based on your spice preference)
Slice the tomatoes and mozzarella into 1/4-inch rounds and arrange them on a serving plate. Generously season with Solstice Spices Garlic Herb or Chile Garlic. Drizzle olive oil over the top, letting it spill onto the plate for a dipping sauce. Thinly slice basil leaves (chiffonade) and sprinkle over the salad. Serve with crostini.
